„Und der Haifisch, der hat Z\u00e4hne und die tr\u00e4gt er im Gesicht …!“<\/p>\n

Wer kennt sie nicht, all die Ohrw\u00fcrmer aus der Feder von Kurt Weill und Bertolt Brecht?<\/p>\n

Die Dreigroschenoper ist eine Oper der ganz besonderen Art. Weills hinrei\u00dfend freche Musik mit ihren Ankl\u00e4ngen an Klassik, Jazz und Swing und Brechts ebenso am\u00fcsante wie spannende Geschichte, in der sich Verbrecher wie B\u00fcrger auff\u00fchren\n und so dem Publikum einen Spiegel vorhalten, verdankte der junge Brecht seinen pl\u00f6tzlichen Ruhm.<\/p>\n

Die am 31. August 1928 im Berliner Theater am Schiffbauerdamm uraufgef\u00fchrte Geschichte wurde zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Theatererfolg der zwanziger Jahre und trat von hier aus ihren Siegeszug um die Welt an.<\/p>\n

Wenn der Mond \u00fcber Soho aufgeht, blickt er auf recht dubiose Gestalten. Da ist vor allem der „Unternehmer“ Jonathan Peachum, der eine ganze Schar von Bettlern wirkungsvoll ausstaffiert, um das gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6gliche Mitleid aus den B\u00fcrgern\n zu pressen. Er hat in der Londoner Verbrecherwelt nur einen ernsthaften Gegner, und das ist der von den Frauen verg\u00f6tterte Stra\u00dfenr\u00e4uber Mackie Messer. Ausgerechnet der hat Peachums Tochter Polly entf\u00fchrt und unter grotesken Umst\u00e4nden\n geheiratet. Peachum sinnt auf Rache und versucht, den Br\u00e4utigam an den Galgen zu bringen, was ob der korrupten Verstrickungen des Polizeichefs zuerst unm\u00f6glich scheint. Doch dann muss der Haifisch doch Z\u00e4hne lassen . . .<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
