1972 gr\u00fcndete Franz Horcicka die Amateurtheatergruppe Kirchdorf. Unter seiner Leitung wurden zirka 30 Theaterst\u00fccke aufgef\u00fchrt. Mit seiner Arbeit legte er den Grundstein f\u00fcr die st\u00e4ndige Weiterentwicklung unserer k\u00fcnstlerischen\n Arbeit. Angeregt von den Methoden Stanislawskis begann er mit Probenmethoden, die sich an der Pers\u00f6nlichkeit und dem eigenen Erfahrungsschatz der Spielerinnen und Spieler orientieren. So war es auch m\u00f6glich, Produktionen zu entwickeln,\n die \u00fcber das \u00fcbliche St\u00fcckerepertoire von Amateurtheatergruppen hinausgingen.<\/p>\n

1988 wurde Ewald Breitwieser neuer Obmann. Unter seiner Leitung begann Anfang der Neunzigerjahre die Errichtung unserer neuen Spielst\u00e4tte \u201eTheater in der Werkstatt\u201c. In vielen Stunden Eigenleistung der Theatermitglieder und\n mit Unterst\u00fctzung der Stadtgemeinde Kirchdorf sowie ortsans\u00e4ssiger Gewerbebetriebe wurde eine ehemalige Werkst\u00e4tte umgebaut.<\/p>\n

1993 konnte das \u201eTheater in der Werkstatt\u201c er\u00f6ffnet werden und diente auch als Spielst\u00e4tte f\u00fcr das Figurentheater. Unter den neuen und besseren Arbeitsbedingungen entstanden unter der Regie von Helga Gutwald, Kurt Geiseder, Johanna\n Horcicka, Eva Bodingbauer, Elisabeth Neubacher und Thomas Hartwagner viele erfolgreiche Produktionen (siehe Produktionen).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2003 wurde Kurt Geiseder Obmann des Theaters Kirchdorf. Aufgrund st\u00e4ndiger Weiterbildung konnten immer mehr Mitglieder des Theaters auch Regiearbeit \u00fcbernehmen, was eine Intensivierung des Spielbetriebes erm\u00f6glichte und zu einer\n Bereicherung des Repertoires beitrug. Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe \u201eLiteratur und Musik\u201c begannen wir, Lyrik f\u00fcr die B\u00fchne aufzubereiten und in vielen Produktionen auch szenisch umzusetzen. (siehe Produktionen)<\/p>\n

Die Kommunikation mit unserem Publikum wurde \u00fcber lange Jahre auch \u00fcber unsere Theaterzeitung \u201eWerkstattblatt\u201c gepflegt.<\/p>\n

Ab 2005 widmete sich Elisabeth Neubacher unterst\u00fctzt vom Theater Kirchdorf verst\u00e4rkt der Jugendarbeit. So fanden im Theater in der Werkstatt auch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Auff\u00fchrungen der Jugendgruppe statt.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2012 organisierte das Theater Kirchdorf gemeinsam mit dem Landesverband f\u00fcr Amateurtheater das Festival Fokus Spektakulum.<\/p>\n

Seit 2017 wird unter der Leitung von Rosa Teutsch j\u00e4hrlich f\u00fcr Kinder die M\u00e4rchenerz\u00e4hlzeit angeboten. In diesem Format wird die alte Tradition des M\u00e4rchenerz\u00e4hlens mit szenischen und musikalischen Elementen gepflegt.<\/p>\n

Das Figurentheater Kirchdorf (ehemals Kirchdorfer Puppenb\u00fchne) wurde 1974 von Eva Bodingbauer als Wandertheater gegr\u00fcndet. Es entstanden St\u00fccke nach M\u00e4rchen, Sagen, Kinderb\u00fcchern, die Gemeinschaftsproduktionen waren. Fortbildungskurse\n regten an, Neues zu versuchen. Das Niveau der Auff\u00fchrungen stieg, die Erwartungen und Anspr\u00fcche des Publikums stiegen mit, die Einladungen zu Gastspielen mehrten sich. <\/p>\n

Mit der neuen Spielst\u00e4tte \u201eTheater in der Werkstatt\u201c wurden die Gastspiele eingeschr\u00e4nkt und die Produktionen auf die Bedingungen des neuen Hauses angepasst. Jedes Jahr entstehen Produktionen mit neuer Ausstattung. Gro\u00dfteils werden\n die Figuren gemeinschaftlich hergestellt. Gemeinsam mit Eva Bodingbauer ist Rosa Teutsch zunehmend f\u00fcr den Entwurf und zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil auch f\u00fcr die Ausf\u00fchrung der Puppen verantwortlich.<\/p>\n

1994, 2004 und 2024 wurden aus Anlass des zwanzig-, drei\u00dfig- und f\u00fcnfzigj\u00e4hrigen Bestehens jeweils eine Figurenausstellung beziehungsweise ein Figurentheaterfestival in Kirchdorf organisiert.<\/p>\n
